Investing in Early Stage
RedShift Ventures is a Series A round focused venture capital firm specializing in tech transfer or spin-offs from universities, research centers and corporations. In the final analysis, RedShift Ventures invests in two things: people and their ideas. Our preference is to lead or co-lead early stage equity rounds in companies providing compelling products and services to new, high-growth markets. We invest primarily in U.S.-based companies and our typical initial investment is $1-4 million. Initial RedShift portfolio companies typically have developed at least a beta product and have conducted initial customer testing. We like to invest $5-10 million in each company over the life of that enterprise.
